Kobe wants Nate mcmillan or Jeff Vangundy

Post#1 » by Magic Mamba » Fri Jul 3, 2009 1:24 am

Kobe Bryant told Adrian Wojnarowski, NBA columnist for Yahoo! Sports, in a recent interview that if Phil Jackson didn’t return as Los Angeles Lakers head coach, he, Kobe, would want either Jeff Van Gundy or — and get ready — Nate McMillan to take over the reins.

Speaking as a Blazer's fan, I would think Nate McMillan would be the last guy you would
want as coach on a team with Artest. I'd think Rick Adelman would be a better fit for LA.

Yeah Adelman is the only one I can think of. Who knows who our next coach will be or when.

JVG is one of my favorite coaches. If want Phil with Artest here but if he wasn't I would have had no problem with Jeff.

JVG is amazing.. he made bad teams look great... Plus defensive minded , a key for a championship caliber coach..

JVG will get us another ring...

BTW looks like phil will be back because Artest spoke with Phil before signing so this discussion is a moot point

I'd take JVG just so I don't have to hear him commentating anymore. I don't know how well Byron Scott would do with Artest, although it would be nice to see him back in LA.
