Just was curious if Ron Artest can wear #8 since it technically isnt retired?

he should wear number 33 (scottie's old number), representing being kobe's pippen...or 91 rodman's old number

Yeah that's all the proof I needed that you weren't really a total Laker fan. 33 is retired by one of the all time greats...Kareem Abdul Jabbar. Ever heard of him? Anyways I'd prefer that he go back to his original 23. It'd look good on him.

No kidding. Possibly the greatest player of all time too (I rank him 2nd after Jordan).

About the number, I don't really care that much what he decides on. 1, 3, 10, 11, 15 and 23 are some decent ones I guess. I like 9 or 6 too (though those numbers are currently taken by Morrison and Yue).

Seems like Mikan's 99 is the only number we're set on protecting from the Minny numbers since Bynum is wearing 17, Shaq got 34 etc.
