I've searched arround and I haven't seen this news posted. I just wanted to know as
Lakers fans what do you guys feel about this knowing his past injures issues with the NT and getting
almost no rest at all this summer.

he's doing it because he wants to i guess...he enjoys the camaraderie of his familiars.

that's his country pride kicking in... he has always been competitive for his country. But i hope it doesn't hurt him during season.. being tired and all...

Well at least his country can see their beloved NBA Champion home to showoff his new acquired status.

Damn Pau is going to pretty much another year of full basketball. Last year a full playoff run and the olympics and now this after a full playoff run. Drew better be ready to step up.

Not that big of a deal, but I wish he would rest. He played A LOT of minutes last season and took a beating.

Phil better limit his regular season minutes. He seemed to get more minutes than Kobe most games.

not only a matter of national pride, but it sure is great goin back home tellin all the family, friends and players how great it was winning the title. you know. its great here of course in the coliseum. but its a different great there when you see your buddies and hes got that gleam in his eye and can say that hes the first spaniard (i think) that won a championship. hes earned that right to tell all his friends in that league, and believe this, when he walks in the gym?? he'll get that response from many of those euros who'll whisper "hey, theres pau, hes just won the title, let me run over there and crowd him for an autograph" and believe this, returning a champion with all that bigtime props hes gonna get from peers, fans, spaniards in the streets is huge!!

I just hope PJ can manage his minutes to keep him somewhat "fresh" for the playoffs.
