How often does LA / most teams change intros?

For 2 or 3 seasons I've seen the Baba O'Riley intro with the 60 foot white screen thing...

for the most part it doesn't seem like it's pumping up the players..boston's 08 intro was good even though their team was despicable, and the Miami Heat 06 intro seemed awesome too

whats a "cycle" for intros?

Players can care less about being "pumped" up by an intro.......trust me they don't even pay attention to that crap.

They changed them for every round of the play-offs

I like the blackout themes.

Most highlights are kinda bland so they've gotta do something hot to impress me.

Not sure how often we change ours, but I think a change is in order at Staples.

That intro song during player announcements is pretty lame and doesn't seem to do much to hype up the fans. It sounds more like a song that is meant to encourage a bunch of insecure teenagers than anything else. Then again, maybe it was a request from Sasha Vujacic.

They also need to fire that sorry ass announcer. He sounds like he can't wait to get through the player introductions so that he can get back to filing his nails.

I absolutely love the huge white screens that drop from the center scoreboard. The music is alittle weak, but I think they did a great job of coming up with something like that. And they did change the clips every round, IIRC.

I agree our PA announcer, Lawrence Tanter, is kinda lame. But to be fair to the guy, he's been around forever. I would love a new one, but it just wouldn't seem right to fire him unless he really wanted to leave on his own time.

honestly, don't bash me for this, but Boston's INTRO is better than the Lakers. (I'm talking about presenting the players, the montage of dunks and whatever is wayyyy better with the 60 foot screen)

Look at these

Lakers intro http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gm_opXM7054 AWESOME up until Baba O'riley
