The Landlord for the lle. I know he hasn't done squat in the L but as is the case with alot of players the team and system you play in matters almost as much as talent. Look at trevor, he got stupid paid after being pretty much a journeyman for the better part of his carreer. I think alot of that had to do with him being on a team that encouraged his talents.

The positives about signing the landlord is he's a DEFENSIVE player, he has the bulk to muscle up to some of the stronger players in the L, He's still young and can develope in our system and on the cheap, and last but not least? He doesn't have to go far to carry his broads bags!!! LOL. I think he's a better fit than Powell or Mbenga. Atleast they should bring him into TC to see if he can win a spot. What do you guyz think? He used to be a beast in the paint in college

Also of note....Defense wins championships, and even though we brought in artest and that's a defenite improvement we still need to get better defensively if we are gonna beat BOSTON because in all honesty that's going to be our real test, not orlando or cleveland. I wanna see them in the finals because they handed us our a$$es. They just got BETTER defensively and we need to improve on that side of the ball.

to me depends on Odom... but say LO is gone... I'd consider him after Joe Smith. I would rather give him a shot than 'rew Goo'en though.

I would consider him over Drew gooden also, to me Drew had his time to prove himself in this league. He's as dumb as a box of rocks in my opinion. He's getting up there, and he doesn't play on the defensive end. We might be able to snag SHELDON WILLIAMS for the vet min if at all possible. He's a better prospect than Mbenga and Josh Powell IMHO.

Sheldon Williams is garbage. How about Rodney Carney for the minimum, I think he would be almost as good as Ariza if plugged into this Lakers team.

The fact that most people don't know who he is should tell you how highly he's rated. I don't think he'd be a bad fit for the Lakers...I'd take him over Powell, but like it was stated, deal with the Odom situation, then toy with other options.

I actually wouldn't mind if they got Williams, lengthy defender and rebounder, just don't ask him to get you any points or contribute offensively. Might be a nice fit for the Lakers. I think Powell is better though, he has that nice mid range jumper.

Powell at 950k is better. If ShWill was making peanuts he'd be in the conversation but I think he's looking for someone's 2mil BAE (totally unwarranted btw).

^Rodney Carney would be a nice pickup.

Also, Gerald Green, Stackhouse, Maurice Ager, Desmond Mason, Kareem Rush, or Ime Udoka.

Desmond Mason, Ime Udoka, and Rodney Carney all are very intriguing to me.
