Allen Iverson should be a laker

I know it is just a thought. AI to the Lakers for the league low. Just think of him trying to run the triangle. Maybe he would want a chance to win a ring. He has all the money he can ever use. Money will not buy that ring and playing for say the clippers will not get him in the playoffs. Just a thought that came and went.

He'd be a Vinnie Johnson type sixth man, good scorer off the bench, if he had a small contract I'd like it, if he started infeting the team, you cut him.

There has to be a point in a players career where he wants to win a title. Money is there no matter what. Barkley never won one. I bet he would have loved to just be on a team to get one. Karl Malone I bet would love to have one. Some have many. Some have none...

The money factor is big of course, but the other thing is that he would have to accept a very drastic change in his role on the basketball court, something he didn't adjust to well in Detroit. Winning a title with LAL wouldn't be the way he imagined he'd get his ring, it wouldn't be on his own terms. He'd be following what some veterans do at the end of their careers, desperately chasing when all else has failed. Things may change but so far he hasn't really shown that he's willing to put aside his pride and go for it.
(And I'd pass as well if he expressed interest in joining the Lakers.)

I cannot stand AI, I respect his game but he carries himself like a complete Douche. I would rather have Watson or even Tinsley than AI. Can you imagine AI and Bynum on the court at the same time, every other play they'll have to stop the game to wipe up all the tears on the court, no thanks.

nope...steer clear of AI..he'll only disrupt the chemistry on the team..on the other hand..the other LA team could use him to sell tickets

AI has been rumored to be talking to the grizzlies and clippers. how important do you think a ring is to him?

The thought of AI in a Laker uniform kind of makes me nauseated. No offense intended.
