http://www.cleveland.com/cavs/index.ssf ... ted_t.htmlCLEVELAND, Ohio -- According to multiple sources, the NBA has pieced together its initial schedule for the 2009-10 season and it will feature the Cavs on both opening night and Christmas Day.
As of now, the Cavs are penciled in to host the Boston Celtics at The Q on Tuesday, Oct. 27, which is expected to be the first night of the season. Usually those games are on TNT.
In addition, the Cavs are believed to be set to play the Los Angeles Lakers in the afternoon on Christmas Day in a game that will probably be the centerpiece of the traditional ABC broadcast.
These dates are tentative. The official NBA schedule is expected to be announced in early August.

When do tickets go on sale? I want to get tix to opening night and Xmas if possible.

that is gonna be a sick game, but i cant wait to see Celtics vs Lakers

This game was dealt on Shaq IMO. If Shaq was still in PHX, XMAS day would be LAL/BOS game once again. LBJ takes a backseat to Kobe/Shaq this day as far as Hollywood & the NBA are concerned.

This does become very interesting this year. I never cared much for Lebron vs Kobe. With Artest this makes it more interesting.

I agree I never saw the hype in Kobe V Lebron esp since they don't play the same positions..
Nowww.... You bring shaq in to the mix and we're talking about 4ringsv4rings and to see who the most dominant player of the decade was.. NOW i'm interested..
esp after all the **** talking thats been done and all the hyping of LEBRON and his KINGNESS. I'm sick and tired of it and I hope the lakers shut the haters up for good.
