i thnk it's a good idea. Basically its' the league again trying to endorse their players eh hem bgriffin. I mean what better to endorse it by playing against the defending world champs? LA vs. LA..

damn it only it was clippers hosting the lakers.. tickets would have been cheaper lol

At least the Lakers don't have to worry about playing Memphis in the month of January. Does this mean that Bynum stays healthy this year?

I wouldn't sleep on the Clippers. it could be a good game. Talent wise Clippers are one of the best they just cant stay healthy and haven't put it together yet.

The problem is they need a new coach

Yes and No. Dunleavy was a good coach but at the same time I also can't help but think new start new star maybe it's time for a change. Sometimes you do have to make a change just to do it and make a statement. It's hard cause he actually is a very good coach though.

I feel sorry for Griffin. He has to face Gasol-Bynum-Odom front lineup in his first game. :P

DNP: Coach's decision. Very nice. Phil can make or break himself right here as the best coach of all time. Sit bynum in those memphis coaches, get 11 rings this year. Play him and lose in the first round. Cmon phil, bench Bynum against memphis!!!!

Griffen's got Camby and Kaman to help. He'll be just fine.

I feel bad for the wing players who don't have another wing player to make sure they can't be doubled. Kobe and Ron as a double team is gonna be scary.

We still gotta take the Clippers seriously, they will be running up and down. I don't want the first game to be a loss. Remember what the Bulls did a couple years back to Miami after the Heat won their first championship? Yea, it was like a 40 Points blowout on the first game of the season.

The Great thing about the schedule :)

Boston, Cleveland, and Orlando play each other 4 times in the season

12 combined losses playing each other :)

Both of our games @ Dallas this year are second night of a back2back, think Cuban paid a little extra for that one?
