Nothing really serious, probably just a lil fissure, a fracture at worst. In the first case he could still play eurobasket, in the latter it could take him 4-5 weeks to recover.

Pau Gasol ha dado el susto en el último entrenamiento de la selección española al ser trasladado a un hospital de Sevilla por un golpe en la mano. I hate this playing year round stuff. This is why Odom signing was so crucial. I think Phil needs to give Gasol a long rest in the begining of the season. I would shut down Gasol and Kobe and not play them in the offseason and maybe even if the first 5-8 games we lose alot of whatever I play them very little, maybe even Odom to.
Let Bynum and Artest carry the team all preseason and first 5 games.

I agree with you in a sence but they need to be smart and get Gasol and Kobe a rest somehow.
Couldn't Bynum-Odom-Artest carry the team and still win if Kobe and Gasol play less minutes as a season strategy?

Once they said left hand that was the end of story for me, at least it wasn't his shooting hand. Pau can use both.But his main hand is his right which is the shooting hand. He'll have plenty of time before training camp to get well.

Anyone remember the days when a broken bone got a cast for 6 weeks? Its always surgery now...

lucky it wasn't his ring finger hehehe.
Is it me or does he seem to play harder in europe. I remember watching him play in the olympics and wanting that same pau in LA. He was a beast playing for spain. Even though we won the championship, it wasn't that beast that we saw then but i'll take whatever if it gets us the W. hehe
