Hi there Laker fans !

For a while i've been doing some mixes and i decided some time ago to make a video project with highlights of Pau Gasol's first entire season with Lakers. When i started doing this Lakers didn't won yet the title, so i thought of doing one video per month. Once i end with this i'll do a playoffs video and a top plays video.

Thanks to revgen and cachooka for providing the original videos to make this mixes. All videos are uploaded in HD format. They all will be up for downloading.

Thanks for posting the mixes, I'll definitely give it a look later in the week.

Pau is such an incredible player. So underrated, even by a lot of Laker fans.

In a season and a half he took us from a 7th seed team to back to back finals appearances.

If this team can string together a series of championships, I hope Pau is elevated to the Pippen/Worthy/Parish-like status he deserves.

I haven't seen Parish in his prime before.

when i see gasol, i think of sabonis

maybe thats just me...

really?? sabonis is double pau's size and cant run the floor...his best attribute would be passing.

well, pre-NBA sabonis

who knows, maybe when gasol gets older and cant run the floor either, he'll bulk up and turn into a NBA sabonis

if I was coach, I'd find more shots for him and less for our guards. the dude shot 60% in the finals!

tall, smart and skilled.. gotta love him.

He already blew his knees twice by the time he entered the league. When he was still playing in Europe he was one of the most complete player. He could run the floor, was probably the best passing center ever witnessed(even Bill Walton admitted he's better), he can shoot 3s and is a much more consistent post-up threat compared to Gasol. During his prime his defense was comparable to Hakeem. If he can develop in the same manner when he could play in the NBA once he's eligible we'd be talking about top 20 for him.

Is there anyway you can do that with Artest on the Rockets? I want to study his speed and hops and see if he is really on the decline as bad as people say.

Could you by any chance create a mix of the Lakers' best fastbreaks over the past couple of seasons? I thought that was a great idea as far as a nostalgic reference to the return of showtime like basketball.

Love, love, love Pau. Easily one of my favorite Lakers of all time. Probably goes Magic, open, open, open, then Shaq, then Worthy, then Pau. We can never get him involved enough. Only good things happen when he touches the basketball.
