Artest - "Houston did me Dirty"

Post#1 » by The Skyhook » Sun Aug 23, 2009 3:50 pm

"Houston did me dirty. I can't wait til next year when we go to Houston. I'm not shooting. All defense. Somebody getting locked da [expletive] up," Artest wrote on his Twitter page Saturday night.

I like the part where he says I'm not shooting all defense. I hope his main focus this year will be defense and not worrying about his shots. The shots will come to him.

This is also why his "craziness" is overrated. Kidd played the Suns the first time after the trade with Marbury and tried to win without scoring a point and just getting assists but nobody said anything. In Hoopshype they made it seem like it was a bad thing.

Was it worth it Ron Ron, because the mothership isn't going to put up with it much longer, enjoy it while you can.

...The gangsta hobbit is gonna kill twitter. :wizard:

It's funny to me, it's like Artest discovered technology when he signed in LA....

5 years 34 million. He is reaching out to his fans and is happy. Whats wrong with that. He isn't the only one who is doing it. See Bosh.

Yeah but he didn't want to stay there. Plus why be mad at them now. And look if they offered big money he might have taken it and regretted it and the Rockets seem to be cursed.

Yeah all he did was single handedly carry them with T-Hurt out and Yaouch battling his knick knack injuries.

This is they type of mentality we need. Ariza's stat line could very well read 0 Points, 0 Reb's 0 Assist's & 5 Fouls!

He is crazy. If he thinks not taking a shot is going to help the team win, he's crazier than I thought. And selfish, because he's throwing team basketball out the window to prove some ill advised point that is not even real. Houston did what they had to do, just as the Lakers did with Ariza, they didn't do Artest any dirtier than we did Ariza. To say he's going to pass up and open lay up or shot just to get back at them? Scares me, he's crazy, he's Marbury Crazy.

don't take his words so seriously. as lakers fans, we are going to have to get used to artest talking out of his ass. no one should actually think he's going to pass up a layup, or even an open shot.

I'm already use to his daily antics, Ron to a certain degree is funny but mostly it's just to draw attention. If guys are going to wrap themselves up in everything he says or does then it's not him who's crazy it's YOU!

I don't want to have to decipher and learn crazy, that's a language I'd prefer to stay away from, I prefer classy guys that are real, and not always saying things and doing things to get attention and create drama, this guy is certifiable, and I'm already sick of his ****.

It's not because of his talent that Houston didn't offer a fair market contract for him.

It's because he can be so embarrassing to an owner, and he's almost impossible to rely on. I mean, in the playoffs, he allegedly almost missed a game, and ended up on the owners bus in his underwear.

It's hard for an owner to commit 5 years and the full MLE to a guy that's hopped on your bus with all your sponsors and employees in just boxer shorts.

I don't think the thing's Rom Artest does are up to him. Sometimes people just do things that they don't think will cause any attention to be drawn or any drama to start. Even though it might happen they don't think there is anything wrong with what they did. I bet most people think that the crap Ron Ron has done are crazy. But to Ron Ron it is just normal deep inside even though he knows its not but he just can't help it.

Ron Artest might have great skills as a basketball player but as a person he is different and that is is his downfall.

Ya I think we had a guy like that named Isiah Ryder, which happened to get a flat tire an hour before the finals in his Escalade and then he walked to a Bently dealer and bought a brand new Bently instead of getting ready with the rest of the team for the finals........... Or how about Cedric Ceballos on his boat in Havasu while were in the playoffs........ I think were use to ish like that, but I think Artest isnt going to be a headache for us. Well be allright
