Sasha - Cut from Slovenian National Team...

http://www.sta.si/en/vest.php?s=a&id=1420464Ljubljana, 24 August (STA) - NBA champion with the Los Angeles Lakers, Slovenian guard Sahsa Vujacic, has been cut from the Euro National Basketball Team along with centre Miha Zupan. The cuts were announced today as the coaching staff trimmed the roster for the upcoming European Basketball Championships in Poland.

wow that sucks for Sasha, but i think its good for him. He needs to be brought down back to earth and realize he's not the player he says he is, we have not seen a decent Sasha in well over a year!!! Let's see if the kid can come back with a chip on his shoulder and will want to redeem himself.

damn, really not what I wanted to hear. I had high hopes for the kid returning to form this season. I knew we should have let him and Turiaf walk. I liked Ronnie but if you let him walk, let Sasha too. We are giving him way too much money to suck on our bench. Now what....hope that Ammo can get us 10 points or so? Yeah right, our boys just better be ready to pick up the slack for these two

ohhh boy. Will it be good for him to get a reality check, or will it hurt his confidence and actually make him worse? Does this have anything to do with the injury?

I was watching the 08 finals and even though I have seen the game, rewatching it pissed me off specially when he was getting blown away by Rays old ass. I cant stand this guy and I cant wait till he leaves this team.

Sometimes you have to be broken all the way down, to get built back up properly. Hopefully this is a reality check for him and use it as motivation to make him into a better player.

Cut from the National team? Well.. optimistically thinking, atleast he's getting a summer's rest to recuperate whatever injury he had.

It looks like we should just include him in a future trade. If he is still around he probably won't get much play time. Shannon Brown is going to be fun to watch when he is in for Kobe or Fisher.

Well Mitch isn't perfect, the contract he gave Sasha was a doozy of a mistake. Ouch.

If he's not healed by now, he never will be, and he needs PT to get his confidence back, dude has zero confidence right now.

Seriously, they need to make all sports contracts more like the NFL, next CBA the NBA needs to say, play or get the Eff out, screw you Union and your quaranteed contracts!!!
