Kobe Bryant

Hey guys,
Laker hater here.
As some of you might know, I hate anytning Lakers based, including Kobe Bryant. However, I have to admit, as previously done (a mixtape about Kobe) that he is definitely the BEST DAMN PLAYER in the league. I know I bait and flame anything Kobe, but I watched a good 30-45 minutes of Kobe greatness clips. Yea, LeBron is more dominant. Yes, Wade is more athletic. But neither, actually no one, touches him in regards to his skill level. The guys mentioned above, they are great and both have a case as a potential #1 in the league, but neither really has the focus, work ethic, or will to be that great. It sucks that I turned away from the greatness I watched today, the genius in his play, the beauty with which he plays the game. I know the argument is made that he wasn't a "great" athlete, but in my opinion, he was. And yet, it was NEVER his major stepping stone off which he based his game. For that, he earns an A+, because he didn't "settle" for being an all-star with no jumpshot, or a non-defense playing wing. He has the full package, and I will not deny that he might be the best player of this decade (Duncan has a case, so does Shaquille).
His jumpshot is a thing of beauty and something every player should try to emulate. Yes, it has its flaws, but it will never be confused for not being "close enough to textbook". His handles are ridiculous, capable of crossing over with either hand and still losing his defender. And then, the mental game. He is the clutchest player in the league. No denying that, he takes and makes big shots. He doesn't live at the free-throw line (a positive display in regards to individual skill), and yet throws up monster games.
Anyway, just wanted to let loose some feelings on Kobe after watching some awesome 'tube videos.
