Paul Pierce says they are the team to beat. While he may have more in his case than Kenyon had for making the statement that Denver is better than L.A, I just don't see it happening. We wanted them last year, not really our fault they didn't make it. They lost KG and could not make it to the finals, the year before we lost Bynum, but were right there in the finals. I don't have much faith in the addition of Rasheed although it scares the issh out of me on paper. Artest is the X-factor and I believe he can do anything he puts his mind to, and he wants his chip. but anyways this year is going to be amazing to watch and I seriously hope we can get a rematch in the finals we sooooo owe them big time. Your thoughts?

Thats the difference between Kobe and P.P. Kobe never came up with lame arse excuses for our loss in 08 NEVER. He took the loss and made a promise that HE ........... NO ONE ELSE, but himself would bring his team back to the finals and nothing can satisfy him but a CHAMPIONSHIP.

Thats why Paul can never be on the same level as Kobe. Never.

plus the lakers with there current squad i think are deeper and more talented than the celtics anyways. no one matches up with them on paper or on the court

Agreed, Paul is outta his mind. BUT, if I were him I'd honestly BELIEVE the same thing. I wouldn't SAY it, but I'd whole heartedly believe it. So I gotta cut him some slack in this respect.
