The Lakers will be the first championship to meet the pres. To bad the Bulls got an invite just for the heck of it. Do you think this will mean a lot to the guys?

How wouldn't it be? Its Barack Obama! President of the United States. First black president of the United States. PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES! White House air. White House lawn. White house everything. Barackallama hand shakes. These are just one of the many beautiful things life bring. When you're a 2009 Laker that is. It would mean a lot to them I'm sure. One of those things you look back upon when your career is said and done and you take it in. I don't care how famous these guys get, you don't get this privilege anytime. This is a monumental honor for anyone.

IMO it will. This is huge on a historical level. It can also be a motivation booster to see the president again next year.

Huh? First Champions to meet the President? Uhhhh no, many past championships have met the president of the US.

First champions to meet OBAMA. Everyone knows its a tradition for the champs to meet the president but they are the first to meet Barack. And i guess the Bulls also got an invite for some reason, strange but no reason to be confused about.

What they are trying to say Magicontinues" is Mr. Obama is the first African American president and the Lakers would be the first World Champion's to meet this (President!) But the bulls got to meet him on the bases of him being from Chicago himself, when they did'nt win anything! :roll:

I bet it will be when the Lakers go to play the Wizards, whenever that game is. No need to travel without going there for a reason to play a game.

Growup little kid, and to answer your other childish post, traditionally sports teams after winning a championship tend to visit the White House and the current president, but the Bulls were invited to the White House by President Obama since he is a huge fan of the Bulls. CLEAR ENOUGH FOR YOU.
