Who picks the design of the championship ring? Also, has anybody seen what the ring will look like for last year?

Buss tells the jeweler kind of what he wants and the jeweler designs it. The org pays for the rings, not the NBA. The franchise that wins the title typically gains about 5o mil in merch sales, play-off tix sales, advertising sales & that team will make more money next season also.
20 rings = 1 mil
