Lamar prenup

sorry if this is way too off topic but i just saw this on a aussie news website and couldnt help but want to share it. im actually surprised it made the news in oz.
move or lock if need be

i have no idea what he is doing now, i was convinced the whole wedding was a sham to get a reality show or something about as lame but this?! why would you agree to this, even with the contract a nba player has it screams gold digger.

i guess another reason for the necessity of this thread if need be is to ask if any lakers fans are at all worried this year about the focus of some players, such as ron and odom for instance? they seem to have done some crazy stuff this off season.

no need for worries man. LO is from New York and has played all but 1 year of his carreer in Los Angeles. he is very familiar and comfortable with all the attention his wife gets. news papers here in LA report that Phil Jackson has said that Odom seems very focused on basketball and does seem distracted by the hoopla. as far as Ron is concerned he couldn't be happier to be getting the kind of attention he gets here in LA. that is what he wanted that is what he is getting. the only thing that has come out of it as far as basketball wise is that he is still learning the triangle offense which is totally understandable.

as far as that pre-nup is concerned seems like an OK deal considering that in accordence with California laws without a pre-nup she automatically gets half of everything he's got.

now I aint saying she aint a gold-digger, but she aint messing with no broke basketball players.

Like Snaq said, if anybody can deal with being around cameras, it's someone who has played the majority of their NBA career in Los Angeles. I doubt Lamar even notices.

Just to clarify b/c its a common misconception. In CA, a wife does not get half of what her husband has, only half of what her husband made DURING the marriage.

Unless there's a pre-nup, she obviously is not entitled to half his recent contract.

She's getting 500k out of 5 million. That's 1/10th of his money. Which is pretty much nothing compared to 2.5 mill.

She gets 300,000 a year for life if I'm not mistaken, (25K a month) the 500 K is sort of the settlement, , even after Lamar retires and is not making ANY money she still get's 300K a year, and don't even mention if Lamar is dumb enough to have a child with her, 18 years of another 300 K a year to her and the child.

Agreed with Tony. I still do not understand why on earth Lamar is involved with the freak Khloe. Can someone tell this moron he is in Hollywood/Orange County/Malibu/Newport Beach. He can find plenty of hot girls or at least girls with better character and family values than the trash know as kartrashians.

Hope Lamar is not as dumb as he is off court as when he is on court.
