The NBA
Yep Bynum leads the league according to Yahoo Sports. If he does not bring it this season then I would say he is a bust!
The top five:
1. Andrew Bynum
2. DeSagana Diop
3. Andrei Kirilenko
4. Erick Dampier
5. Jerome James

Re: The NBA
Isn't this the first year of that contract? I don't understand how someone can be overpaid when they haven't even played a game on the contract. Stupid.

I think Bynum should have Sensei DJ Mbenga teach him martial arts to improve balance and reduce the risk injuries (especially the ones he's sustained). No hate here, but if Bynum could sustain from being injured he can better fulfill his contract.

Bynum is over paid but by no means is he a bust. He has been somewhat injury prone but still has a bright future. I would definately put him in the overpaid players column but face it LA can afford to over pay here and there.

See I understand that but don't agree with it. On the subject of being injury prone. I had a debate about this with my brother, about what do you consider "injury prone" Now, Bynum is his 07-08 season is averaging above average sophomore year numbers at 13.1 Pts., 10.2 Boards, & 2.1 Blocks leading the NBA in feild goal %. First injury he lands akwardly on LO's foot and has a partially dislocated LEFT kneecap putting him out for the rest of the season including the championship run. Now i'm not makin no excuse for this; if any thing it's Bynum's fault for not being aware.
Next game against Memphis, god that irks me, a 205 pound man in Kobe Bryant shoots and off balanced shot and hits Bynums knee causing an MCL tear on his RIGHT knee. Now this is where I need help, Why is it that Bynum gets the injury prone title when a a 205 pound man comes flying into a 7 footers knee; I note
because think about how much more vunerable that knee is considering how much leg that knee is accounting for. Thats a whole lotta **** leg to deal with. Any how my basic point is the injury prone title is handed out with out much thought to it I feel and Im not baggin on SAparu but more so ESPN and other analysis. Off the top of my head and I'm not sayin this player is injury prone but if KG got the same kinda of knee injury that he got last multiple times then I'd call that Injury prone.7 footer

Yes martial arts would reduce the risk of injury. Balance, nimble.. lite as a feather. So you don't land on someone's foot, and have the reflex and agility to dodge a falling 200 lb man.
No hating back, but research is not just a river in Egypt.

No ish, I hate how people keep saying he is injury prone........... How the hell are you injury prone when people accidentally fall on your legs and knees. Is that considered injury prone, come on people. Amare, Grant Hill, Oden, J Oneil are injury prone not Bynum.

Re: The NBA
It's pick on Drew year. The media has chosen to either aggrandize him or Villain-ize him this year. We're going to see alot about his sense of composure this year. So far in preseason getting all the touches his 'tude has seemed very even, but the season hasn't even started yet.

I don't think Karate is going to stop people from falling into his knees and bending them at unatural angles.

Re: The NBA
This is a lame list. 4 are old news and the 5th is only considered a possible bust cuz he's oft injured. TMAC most overpaid.

Re: The NBA
Other players in the NBA have seen worse things happen without getting injured for extended periods like bynum did.. Both incidents that happened to bynum did not look like something major yet bynum was lost for 2-3 months in both cases so yes bynum is injury prone.
But on the positive side Bynum looks fitter than ever before which is good news , definitely reduces his chances of getting injured..
But if Bynum plays half the time like he did last night then i doubt he can be retained on the list
