ESPN experts predict 09/10 award winners

Post#1 » by dockingsched » Mon Oct 26, 2009 5:00 am

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/stor ... ns0910-MVP

mvp: 1. lebron, 2. howard, 3. kobe

dpoy: 1. howard, 2. garnett, t-3. artest

6moy: 1. ginobili, 2. sheed, 3. odom

coy: t-1. jackson, t-1. carlisle, t-1. saunders

mip: 1. a. bynum, t-2. oden, t-2. w. bynum

roy: 1. griffin, 2. evans, 3. flynn

i'm good with the mvp, dpoy, and mip rankings. i really don't think sheed or odom are going to be that high on the 6th man list; it usually goes to a big time scorer and i also don't think jackson is ever going to get coy again.

At the end of the day, just give me laker wins. Any other award just means that a single player had a great year. It is all about the team. And #5 for Kobe.

If you look at that list and all of those Lakers play that well to rank that high for individual awards then the Lakers are going to win it all again. Which regardless of how the individual awards go the Lakers barring injury are head and shoulders above the rest of the NBA
