his loss hurts a lot more than people might think. it pretty much means more chucking from farmar and sasha and playing ammo who is the worst player in the nba.

Only value Morrison got is his expiring contract. Same with Farmar at this point, and to a lesser extent Sasha because his contract will expire the following year.

Lakers' bench is solid w/ Odom, Powell, Benga and Brown and after that it is weak. It would be nice to have one player on their that can get their own shot in the half court offense but hard to come by I guess.

AI might be the only option because I don't see anybody lining up to get Morrison, Farmar or Sasha although Nate Robinson would be nice for an expiring contract that the Knicks want for their attempt to land 2 max free agents. A possible Morrison, Sasha and Farmar for Nate and J Jeffries might work.

Only positive is that all these injuries piling up could force Mitch to make a move to improve the bench. Although I doubt he can find a taker for Farmar, Sasha, Ammo.

Now we only have 11 active players (w/ Pau out as well).
Thank you, Phil.

I don't think so for the following reasons his ex is married to Odom that's way and we don't want to turn this into the Jerry Springer Show.

Seriously I could care less about luke who plays well 25% of the time and is a turnover waiting to happen 4 series in a row the rest of the time. It's also time to realize he has his dad's degenerative disease and will never be healthy for a season ever. I know it does hurt us in some ways, but maybe this lights a fire under Ammo.

Mitch is going to the well again book it, it won't be flashy but it will work within the team structure.

This is horrible news gang. Injury to one rotation player means more minutes (and more strain) on everyone else.

That's how a thing like the injury bug exists.

Let's hope there's a silver lining to this, and, if anything, it puts pressure on Mitch to wave that magic wand of his.

I can't wait for Ammo and Farmar to expire. The the year after Sasha. I think now that Mitch has learned from his mistakes the new bench will be great if we still hold on to those 3 and decide to wait it out. I wish there was a way to get Rudy Fernandez. He could be a nice guy off the bench for Kobe. The guy is an energy guy that hustles and can shoot the 3 ball. Unfortunately he doesn't expire next season and the Blazers won't be willing to trade him to us.

With all these injuries I say they all stay out extra long, get healthy, I can care less what position the LAL finish in as long as they get the 8th seed, get healthy!
