I heard that the Wizards late owner Abe Pollin had been the longest tenured owner before he past away this week. He had been owner of the Washington Bullets/Wizards for 45 years (since '64), Jerry Buss purchased the Lakers from Jack Kent Cooke in '79...so I was wondering whose the current longest tenured NBA owner?

That's easy.............it's now Dr.Buss, every other NBA team has been purchased from the original owners since the time Dr.Buss bought the Lakers. Had Jerry Colangelo not sold the Suns to cheap skate Robert Sarver he would've taken the mantel of longest tenured owner.
