Odom having brain cramps............again

Man what is it with Lamar? Why is it that someone always has to get him focused or refocused? I guess I was wrong for thinking becoming a champion would change him. I wish he could finally understand what a key piece he is & play like it more often than not. I know everyone has issues here & there but with L.O. it seems that more often than not you have to set a fire underneath him. If it's not candy it's caffeine. This guy really needs to take a more mature approach with his career or his decline is going to sneak up on him faster than a cheetah!

I guess Khole is on his mind. The wedding was a bad thing for Lamar who has a short attention span.

From what I remember Lamar played better with more guaranteed minutes. At the start of last season he wasn't doing great until Bynum went down and then he went off. Coming off the bench for Bynum doesn't seem to be his thing. In the playoffs he was coming off the bench for Bynum but he had those guaranteed minutes since Bynum had limited play time because of his inability to stay on the floor due to the knee injury.

8 pts, 10 rbs, 4 asts, 3 blks, 2 stls, and a team leading (w/ artest) + 25 last night is pretty damn solid from a backup.

It's very solid. My point is why is he so high maintenance with his mental stability?

Because that's his natural disposition and he's had a difficult life?

He will never realize that he should be the go-to scorer of the 2nd unit. He is just as passive next to Kobe as next to Sasha
Lakers are 22-3 in OT last 6 seasons:Kobe best OT closer!

there is never a situation where odom is or should be the go-to scorer. frankly, anyone judging lamar on his scoring output hasn't been paying attention to his game the last half a decade.

There's no excuse for him to not put up atleast 10 pts every game playing alongside Kobe & Pau but still we know what he can and cannot do and he's fitting in just fine.

i dont really care what lamar does in terms of stats... as long as he does what he does and continues to lead the team in +/-

lamar is practically the NBA's best intangibles guy in the NBA due to the fact he somehow manages to make the other 4 players on the court play so much better with having next to no mentionable stats whatsoever (other than +/-)

Fantasy sports have corrupted the minds of the "fans".

Seriously, stop. He's playing fine. What Phil said is just a desperate attempt to get better bench play overall. Those guys suck, if you haven't heard.

well until we look bad on court as a team, I don't care. And also, he'll be focused on slapping KneeG's ass when he pulls his fake tough act to remind him homie don't play that when we need him to.

I read in an article that Phil said it was because he'd cafe al ot of coffee in the mornings and by the time the game started he'd be on the low when that caffeine high was done.
