If he's bringing the A-game for 48-minutes and doesn't affect the rest of the squad the guy can do whatever he wants imo

He didn't admit to doing it now for obvious reasons. And I don't care because there are bad habit floating throughout the league and we don't need Artest as a crutch to succeed.

But he needs to keep his mouth shut on Wallace. I don't care how he feels, they need to make sure he keeps his head on his shoulders if he still has animosity towards him.

He is playing better the last couple games so that shows he is fitting in. As long as he keeps up the good work he can drink all he wants

Didn't see this 1 & posted the same topic & different words so I erased it. I highly doubt if he's drinking now, his all around attitude just seems to be different which usually means there was a mind set change.

Lakers desperately need to get a hold of their boy, Artest! He's a rogue running amok at the mouth like he invented the word controversy. I mean, why is he acting a fool on Jimmy Kimmel recently, and now confessing his sins to the Sporting News? I don't know what his agenda is, but he's pretty much making a fool of himself and your team.

Artest clearly has his mental issues that require immediate attention, and I just don't want it to unravel the Lakers otherwise golden opportunity to repeat just because he continues to warrant attention in whatever form it comes.

Can he be suspended for his comments and/or for actually drinking Henny at halftime?

Think I'll spray a little troll-be-gone around the place to avoid any unwanted suspensions.

I don't think he'll be suspended, but the Ben comments weren't smart regardless.

If lakers won 3 championships with the drama between kobe and shaq, this is nothing. Let's extend our win streak with more double digit wins.

Ron's the most interesting guy in the league.

I feel an endorsement coming.

"As for Artest, he does not always drink at halftime, but when he does, he now prefers Dos Equis."

(In all seriousness, dude tells the truth and it's really not all that shocking to me.)

its been almost a decade since he played with the bulls. its a non-story as far as the lakers are concerned. raises questions about the people in charge in chicago at the time though.

hmm I can't see his honesty do him any good, this doesn't help his image and now the league is on notice with his confession that he wants to fight Big Ben. Although i must admit it gave me a good laugh and he always keeps things interested. There is no way the FO is happy about this though, someone needs to keep him in check.

This is something he should have written down and published a book after his career is over.

STFU Ron, don't let a couple good games go to your head. You're just one piece to this championship puzzle and we don't need you. You're a Laker now and Lakers don't say stupid ish like that.

That comment about fighting Ben was unnecessary but that's Ron for you. He says what he thinks, not very media savvy.
