Every game thread I always see trolls on our board talking about our 17 out of 21 home games, and it makes me mad because in the end we will have to play 41 home and away games just like everyone else don't you guys get a little pissed about these idiots

imo, it is actually harder for us down the stretch because of all the away games we would have to play.... but its also a good test for our team so to conclude, just let the haters hate

You have to realize that idiots on message boards will rationalize anything to prop up their wobbly claims or will blame anything on us as part of a wider conspiracy. They blamed the extension of the first round to 7 games on us. Game 6 was fixed. Portland got robbed in Gm7. Gasol was a Stern and/or West move. KG trade was much more fair than Pau trade. Kobe's game winner was luck. Kobe needed Shaq to win a title. Bynum isn't really a good scorer, it's just that 80% of his shots are in the paint. Gasol is 0-12 in the playoffs. After winning a title...No fair, Gasol is one of the most skilled bigs in the league!
You can go on and on with this silly S that half the morons on this site spout off.

Silver Screen and Roll has a good argument against the argument:

i think its great and i'll take it!
right now gasol does not look 100%. this home time will give him a chance to heal. a chance for our team to gel. allow artest time to grow into his role. throw in a miami type game here or there, and we can fix and repair certain areas that need adjusting.
by the time we hit the road . . . we will be ready to roll!!

Well considering that Gasol was out I would say that home court advantage was a wash.
I would rather play an away game with rest than the 2nd game of a back to back at home

To be fair the schedule looks well set up for us now by easing into the season, recovering from all injuries, sluggishness and integrating Artest into the offense. Then we move into the tougher phase of the season by playing on the road and testing our mettle right ahead of the playoffs when the rotations are much tighter and the team is well in groove.
To be fair I can't complain against it. Also the fact that we've had 2 back to backs so far is a gift.

I agree with j-far. While it's great right now, tougher teams will face them after Artest gets integrated into the offense, giving the Lakers a good test of where they stand (top team).
