GAME PREVIEW
The Lakers come into tonights game after a lost to the Phoenix Suns. The Lakers last defeated the Warriors 130-97 on 11/28/09 in Oakland.

The Warriors come into this game fresh off a 103-99 victory over the Boston Celtics. The Warriors were led by Monte Ellis with 37 points.

KEYS TO WINNING THE GAME
Attack the Warriors thin front line with Gasol and Bynum early and often. The Warriors are a fast tempo team, controlling the boards will be key. Kobe and Monte Ellis will go head to head scoring wise, but the Lakers must contain Curry and Marrow at all times. Must limit the amount of open 3's the Warriors will try to create off ball movement and penetration from Ellis and Curry. The Lakers must keep the tempo at a slow pace and force the Warriors to play from half court sets more than they'd like to.

Great GT Deep!

Time to turn the corner now and I want to see Pau posting up and being aggressive like much of last season and not be the soft jump shooting big he's turned into.

I actually wish he would take more of those jumpshots because his moves to the hoop are sooooo weak right now. He's pump faking so much and hesitating instead of being explosive and direct with his moves. Really been bothering me because he was so crisp last year and this year he's slowed up a bit.

With that being said...I expect an angry Laker squad firing on all cylinders. Go Lakers!

Hmm... I doubt this will be much of a contest. Horrid bench or no bench, Ron ron in the line up or not, the Lakers come out focused pounding it in to Gasol and Bynum which ignite the offense and tempo of the game there on with Bryant doing his usual butchering. This is what I expect. Look for them to turn it up once back at Staples tonight.

The Lakers may have a stacked starting 5 but regardless of the talent presented, you can expect losses in the columns each and every time when opposing teams simply outperform and play harder than ours. It's a temporary issue. Part of the long haul of an 82 game season. Nothing to be concerned over.

This bench on the other hand is another issue all in itself. There is no sense of security at all with players the likes of Morrison, Farmar, Mbenga, and Sasha Vujacic subbing in. The disparity of talent that transacts from our starting 5 to the second unit is pathetic. Laughable. And somewhat nauseating. Expect closer games then need be, higher minutes from the starters and games where we'll need bail out performances by Bryant or our other starters. That win over the Queens was a relief but it never should have gone as far as it did. Pray with me these guys do not break down. They'll be logging a lot of minutes this season until "it" clicks in within these dorks or the issue is addressed by the front office.

Man, I hope they realize it's not a joke to lose anymore. It's just their focus and energy they give. Come on, a big fight for the lakers! GO GO GO!

i thought this was on the road for some reason. maggette is going to go off for like 12-14 ft's. bynum and gasol REALLY have to dominate against them.

We've been looking for that this whole season so far.......has it ever been one game where they tag teamed the opponent ?

I bet Pau has met some LA skank that has his nose wide open, now he can't play for crap. I don't know I'm just looking for something that has this man in a funk.

Danger game.

Scoring lots of points shouldn't be a problem, Lakers need to clamp down hard on the defensive end though. I didn't bother to check the late scores last night so it came as a pleasant surprise to see the Warriors beat the Cs, but I'm sure they'd LOVE to knock off the top teams in each conference on consecutive nights. I predict this one will be a shootout.

maybe its complacency??

was it any coincidence that he signed a 57mil extension after dropping 4 ~20 rebound games??

what has he done since signing that extension?? probably busily spending that money

Odom needs to park his ass on the bench permanently. He has no ability on defense whatsoever. Brown should be starting at the 2 and move Kobe to 3.

Losing by double digit at home vs the Warriors. How pathetic can we get.
