ARENA: Staples Center Los Angeles,CA.
TIME : 7:30PM
TV: KCAL9 & PRIME

SERIES NOTES
The Lakers lead the current season series with the Clippers 1-0.The Lakers are 9-1 in their last 10 games against the Clippers and have won their last nine straight overall. The Lakers are 17-4 all-time at STAPLES Center against the Clippers. The Lakers defeated the Clippers on opening night 99-92, Kobe Bryant scored 33 points.

KEYS TO WINNING GAME
The Lakers front will have to go toe to toe with the Clipper front line, mainly Kaman and Camby. Artest should get the best of his match up with Thorton based on sheer strength. Lamar will have to stay a threat in order to keep Camby from offering help from the weak side where he a very efective shot blocker. Kobe will battle with the young 2 guard Eric Gordon, but it's a match up Gordon will have his hands full with trying to slow Kobe. Also dump the ball to Bynum in good post up position, Bynum has shown before to be a threat verses Kaman.

Nice GT Deep! I really really hate that Gasol is injured. As far as Im concerned this is just wasted chemistry building time. We essentially got two new players in Ron Artest and Big Drew, and from what Im seeing, its going to take a good 50+ games with Kobe, Gasol, Bynum, Ron, and Fish to get this Ashton Martin running smoothly!

Lakers just beat the Mavs and Rockets. There's no excuse for dropping this one.

I don't care that it's a road game, get it done early.

Go Lakers.

Why is Kobe wearing the big gold arm sock?

I'm assuming it's not just a fashion statement.

Drew moved Kaman out of the way like he was a twig. He can have a field day under the basket if he keeps his head in the game.

incredible foot work for kobe.

brown vs. gordon is a good matchup, both undersized sg's with pretty good strength.

Kobe needs to step it up a notch. 30% shooting is not going to get it done. Fisher needs to retire.

I think the Clippers are playing good defense so far, especially on Kobe. But Kobe come on, you had 2 open 3s, at least sink one of them :nonono:
