This is the 271st meeting between the Lakers & Celtics. The Celtics enjoy a 151-119 lead against us, not to mention a 9-2 advantage in the Finals against us. As we all can see, we have a lot of making up to do in both areas. The Lakers come into this game riding a 3 game winning streak while the Celtics are on the wrong end of a 2 game losing streak.

Defense, Defense, & more Defense. The Celtics will try to use this game to catapult their season. Do not allow them to do it! If we play defense, rebound, & play with heart all game, we will put this team away but believe me they are not going down without a fight.

Kg is on a gimpy leg. It is Gasol's job to exploit that. Bynum is going to have to outplay Kendrick Perkins on both ends of the floor. Perkins becomes much more of a presence on defense if he realizes he doesn't have to do to much to keep his man in check, plus he's added some good moves around the basket.

Ron Ron, this is 1 of the guys we picked you up for to keep in check. Don't let wheel chair Paula go off. He has been a thorn in our sides & we are looking for you to take it to him & turn him into the whinny wheel chair girl that he is!!

Get it done guys! Let this be the road trip that got us off & running to a repeat title!!!

Great GT Ankle...... great pictures of the rivalry. We need this game sunday to show that we can be the eastern conf. powerhouses.........especially BOSTON!!!!!

First off great GT Anklebreaker......

This is what it's about the most fierce rivalry in the NBA comes back into play Sunday. This game's story will be told on the boards, the Lakers are the number 2 overall rebounding team in the league at 45.1 a game.

The Celtics are having an awful season on the boards and their inability to rebound has already cost them games. The Lakers front court averages 33.5 rebounds a game ranking 4th in the league, while the Celtics front court averages 29.3 ranking 27th.

Another key area will be bench play, so far our bench play has gotten a little better. I get so sick of hearing , "the Lakers have no bench". That couldn't be further from the truth. Fact of the matter is if the Laker starters average 77.0 point a game and the team averages 103.5, that tells you the bench is pumping in 26.5 which is more than enough. Besides the Lakers don't have to lean on their bench as much as other teams do because most teams don't have the scoring options the Lakers have.

Anyway a good thumping of the Celtics on Sunday will shut half the critics up, and the Celtics have lost their last two games to teams they use to punk. The Lakers have to come in and take it to this team while they're down a bit. The Celtics are struggling in all aspects of their team, no need for the Lakers to let them come up for air. They need to keep their heads in the bucket until they submit and quit.

Their foundation is cracking time to take the wrecking ball to the joint and level them for good.

That's from that girl who played 4 years of college softball & in her last game she hit her 1st homerun & tore her ACL rounding 1st base & if her teammates helped her she would have been called out. So the opposing team carried her & touched her other foot on each base so she would get credit for her HR, but I thought it was fitting for Paula :lol:

nice gt....my only comment is that that pic of td dumpwaternorthhouseparquet whatever garden, wow that is a seriously ugly piece of building... not that staples is high art either, but it at least is pleasent to look at...that morgue in boston looks like a 1970's soviet radar installation
