If Kobe gets 28 and Lakers win, Phil earns the best achievement in regards to coaches in LA, and Kobe does the same with the scoring record. Would have been much sicker if this happened at home, but the fact that they could do it on the same night is amazing.

I would really like to see Kobe hold off on getting this until he's back at Staples. This is a huge accomplishment. Being the all-time leading scorer of one of the greatest franchises in all of sports is too big of a deal to do in front of a road crowd.

That, and it'll guarantee that he's distributing more while taking smarter shots. We can win easily with him scoring 20-25. If he were smart, he would try to get everyone going early in the event that his offense is needed later.

As for Phil's accomplishment, I couldn't sacrifice a win just for recognition. If we win, then I'd like to see him recognized alongside Kobe at the next home game so both are celebrated together. That would be awesome.
