As we know the Lakers have a rich tradition of great big men. Let's Kareem, Wilt and Shaq all played today, all 3 are intrested in joining the Lakers but you can only get one, which would you chose? Which of the 3 would you pick to be the anchor of your team in the middle.

Anchor - Wilt or a motivated Shaq
Overall - Kareem

By the way you cannot go wrong with any of those guys though. Its like Denzel asking the junkie to choose between his left and right nuts in training day.

Hard to say since I've really only seen Shaq play. From what I've read and seen highlights on, Wilt was a specimen and had to play against Kareem and Bill Russell through out his career.

But seeing how lazy Shaq has gotten and the lengthy career Kareem put in, I have to go with Kareem. He had the sky hook which I don't think I saw anyone perfect. Wished Bynum could have learned that from Kareem.

But I only have seen one classic game w/ Wilt in it so thats all I know. He was old and with the Lakers.

Kareem, the skyhook alone. Plus I am impressed with his finesse more so than Shaqs brut power. And as for Wilt the the all time stat padder, I don't think we would have done as well, or obviously not as well with the 3 second rule, plus hard to say as I haven't watched him enough to really rank him. But from what I seen and learned of Wilt, he still falls short to Kareem and Shaq. IMHO of course.

Bucks fan here. Shaq in his prime was the most dominant force ever. You can't look at Shaq today, he is a mere shadow of what he once was.

Assuming they are all the same age Wilt would be the pick for me. I didn't see him play but if you look at his career numbers and averages they are hard to believe, no player is his equal, not even the great KAJ...

Kareem is solid, Shaq is shaq.
