George Karl fighting cancer.

My prayers go out to the Karl family, especially since Coby Karl delt with prostate cancer. To see your son battle cancer, then to find out you have cancer must be extremly tough. I do think that the Nuggets organization needs George Karl, and that his teams play will be affected by this...

This guy is a coach who turns underachieving teams into contenders. As much as I dislike the Nuggets and their arrogance it's because of Karl that they have that belief in themselves. I wish Karl and his family all the best in this battle through cancer. I recently witnessed the passing of my girlfriend's father due to cancer and I would NEVER wish anyone, including people I hate to be diagnosed with cancer.

My prayers also go out to George Karl.

It is apparently a very treatable form of cancer. I pray that is the case and he makes a full and healthy recovery.

After hearing about Kareem I can understand how Nuggets fans feel about this. Best wishes to Karl and his family for his speedy recovery! Ouch =(

My thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family. Such a terrible thing to go through... twice
