Why does he have to redeem himself? He did not cost us a game. Lakers fans could care less about the dunk contest anyway.

Aside from a few bad shots here and there, Shannon has been a great addition for us.

I'm sure his teammates will stop ragging on Shannon about the dunk contest now. I know the Lakers love to take shots at each other.

come on espn.com. On the recap of tonights game they have Shannon Brown's old picture from the Cavs. Atleast put his Laker picture up. ESPN makes all this money and can't even put a current picture up!!!!

He only confirmed that he is a two guard in this league who can d up on larger one guards. He still has poor ball handling and passing skills, even for a triangle PG.

Well we do need a guard to lock down the quicker guards like Brooks, Chris Paul, etc. Brown unable to pass and handle the ball isn't as important since we have good players in other positions who can pass like Gasol, Odom, and others to bring up the ball like Kobe and Odom.

There should be a rule this year that any individual performances versus the warriors should be completely ignored. Brandon Jennings, shannon brown, etc.

NO

Shannon is 1/2 of what killed the dunk contest

He was too much of a baby to do a 2nd attempt

Glad he is playing well where it matters (Lakers) but NO he needs another ring before he feels good about himslef!!!

Great performance, but we only celebrate NBA Championships here in Tinseltown.

there is no redemption from the dunk contest. that was a crap performance.

all he needs to focus on is winning games. not the dunk trophy.

Redeem what? I thought he did very well in the dunk contest, but he didn't win that's all.

He more than redeemed himself last night. I'm sure all the ragging from teammates ended as soon as he came up clutch last night down the stretch. It's really great to see him bounce back because I'm sure he felt pretty embarrased after watching replays of his effort in the dunk contest.
