I laughed so hard reading this thread. After seeing the game tonight I can understand why you made this thread but I think its going to get locked.

We can agree on this...the Lakers officially have one of the worst starting point guards in the league. Sure, he might be clutch in moments, but in terms of an OVERALL GAME...one of the worst. Horrible defender, streaky 3 point shooter, can not drive inside to save his life. Just a liability on the court.

By the way outside of Derek Fisher, the rest of the team including Jordan Farmar played lights out defense. Lamar is a fantastic defender against any finesse PF, I can only imagine what he'll do to Jamison. Gasol while not the greatest is solid (Rasheed had a great move on him).

Because he's under contract and this is his last year.

all you miss was fisher losing it for us like we all thought he would man I'm so mad

It's amazing how we play defense considering we play 4 on 5 because Fish is so bad.

He topped his atrocious defense with that drive to the hoop with about 1:30 to go though. Excellent play Fish, you can't make a lay-up to save you life, yet you don't know that. Idiot.

Not to mention, Shannon played a pretty bad game. Backcourt cost us the game. Good to see Lamar playing great consecutive games.

Even when Shannon plays poorly though he plays a tough, active brand of defense.

Ironically the one player Fisher could guard was Pierce except for a non-sense foul call.
