Looking ahead at the Lakers-Celitcs Rivalry

Gotta take my hat off to the Celtics, they took it to the Kobeless Lakers tonight and won the game. Before this game, with Kobe the Lakers narrowly edged out the Celtics with Kobe's game winner. These two games were great to watch!
As a Laker fan, I appreciate the Laker Celtic rivalry over the years. These are great games to watch and it's great for the NBA.
Having said that, I am concern over the state of the rivalry. As much as I hate the Celtics and Boston in general, tonight could be the last great game we'll see in a long time (unless the Celtics and Lakers meet in the Finals this year.)
Lakers are heavy favorites to repeat back to the Finals while the Celtics have to deal with teams like the Hawks, Magic, and the best team in the league, the Cavs. The Celtics have a tougher road ahead of them.
The Celtics could be done after this year. KG on the decline and his recovery hasn't been at 100%. Ray is in his final year and I wonder if the Celtic could resign him. Rasheed looks like a liability with his play and bad rep with the refs.
Pierce has a few years left and Rondo is the best player against the Lakers. And that's the only positives I see on this team right now.
So tonight could be the last time we see a good Lakers-Celtic game. I enjoy this rivalry and even though I despise everything the Celtics have to offer, I see the Lakers contend for years to come while this is the last year for the aging Celtics. Anyone else agree?
