""I've talked to him and his agent (Ritch Winter) lots, and we look to be his first choice," Shero said. "But he's gonna go to July 1 just to make sure, and we'll see what that brings both of us. We've made a very fair contract offer. From Marian's standpoint, he wants to be sure. He knows the risks involved (in testing free agency), and so do we."
Seems like hes going to go elsewhere. Could be wrong but thats what it seems.
I guess he ends up in Boston.

Losing Hossa this year and most probably Staal next year. Doesn't look too promising for the Pens.

Re: Hossa declines offer
I am excited thinking of Hossa in a B's uniform. And when I read this report I really think it is possible. I just hope Hossa doesn't play Chiarelli like Modano played MOC a few years ago. The bruins had a ton of cap room coming back from the lockout and they went after modano, instead of guys like forsberg and others, and modano kept us waiting it seemed. And then finally went back to dallas. The Bruins ended up with Brian Leetch and a bust formed alexi zhamnov. I just want hossa to make his decision fast so if he chooses pitt, or another place, we can go to plan B.

Hossa will re-sign with the Pens. I still have faith in it.
At least he won't sign with Montreal

I know what you're thinking. We're in the middle of a city, what's a hawk doing there?

I have no problem with this now that we've gotten Tanguay and will be getting Sundin (Pretty confident it'll happen as long as he doesn't decide to retire) Habs are going to be freakin' stacked this year.

Hossa in a B's uniform, please I'd do unforgivable things for that to happen.
