Any deal for more than 5-6 years to me is a bad idea, while there is aa certain amount of cap relief if it were to happen, if he blows out a knee 6 months in and is done forever you take a cap hit for the next 15 years. Besides does anyone remember Jim Carey? imagine if after his season on "potential" if someone gave him a 15 year deal? What is he flipping burgers now?
