Can anyone tell me why three of the four referees were Canadian?

We would call that jobbery in Europe :P

I know you are just kidding but, if anything the US got a free goal. That first goal was clearly an offside play.

Yes. But how big would have been the complain by American's if the referee's gave an irregular goal for Canada? Everyone would be like: "F******* Canadians betrayed us, the Olympics suck :P"
Shouldn't the IOC ensure that this can't happen? IMO the person who decided on the referee's is a moron :lol:
I would be annoyed if Germany was in a world cup final against Spain and the referee was Spanish. Just saying and it wouldn't even matter if he makes a good job or not.
