Byfuglien

Post#1 » by livia » Sat May 22, 2010 11:59 am

CHICAGO (AP)—Big Buff, as they call Dustin Byfuglien(notes), scored the biggest goal of his career.

He sent the United Center into pandemonium and moved the Chicago Blackhawks to within one victory of the Stanley Cup finals for the first time in 18 years.
Chicago Blackhawks' Dave Bolland(notes) celebrates after scoring a goal against the San Jose Sharks during the third period of Game 3 of an NHL hockey Western Conference finals Friday, May 21, 2010, in Chicago.
Dave Bolland’s(notes) nifty pass from behind the net found the 257-pound Byfuglien in stride as he skated hard into the slot Friday night. When the puck hit the net off Byfuglien’s stick in overtime, Chicago had a 3-2 win over the San Jose Sharks and a 3-0 series lead in the Western Conference finals.

Two assists from Jonathan Toews(notes), a breakaway goal by Bolland in the third period and 44 saves from Antti Niemi(notes) put the Blackhawks on the cusp of their first appearance in the finals since 1992. They can wrap up the series in a sweep Sunday at home.

Would it kill to have a mod around once in a blue moon?

Ryan (Snayr) is the only one who actually shows up. What the hell has MAS and the other one done? We need more - or new - mods in here.

There's a handful of posters on here that are pretty active, you'd think one or two of us would be able to take mod duties for this place.

I agree some more of the active posters should be named mods here, I'll see about bringing it up with the big bosses.

As far as this post goes, I completely missed this earlier in my fury of Habs loss! haha.

OP, we have a playoff thread where stuff like this can be discussed. We're all avid fans, so we're well aware of the scores, etc. If you want to discuss this further, use the playoff discussion thread.
