Turco is an all star goalie and has been one for a while and still relatively young.
Who says the 8th overall does something? Kessell get sick again and shortens his hockey career? Savard is the only sure bet to get you about 80 points and Toivenen is good but more of a rotational goalie IMO.

If boston wants Turco they would have to give up Glenn Muarry which they would like to do, but who wants that peice of garbage?

maybe its a bit much but I meant a good prospect/rookie Savard and a goalie maybe Tuuka Rask?
Thats still too much.
Rask is a top 10 rated prospect, Savard is a 90pt scorer and then you want a good prospect on top of that?
Were talking about Marty Turco here, not Roberto Luongo or Marty Brodeur in prime.

According to the bruins, savard, chara, bergy, and I assume Kessel, are all untouchable. And rask is going to take time to develop. Why do they want a future goalie, when they have that young goalie, I forget his name. So my offer would be this:
Glen Murray-He has a bad contract, but he still is a good player
Hannu Toivenen-Toivenen and there young goalie can split the time, and help each other out.
Matt Lashoff- A great young defensemen
1st or 2nd round pick in 08.

You forgot on a good team. Look at Nikolai Khabibulin he was a elite goalie with Tampa Bay and now look.
Boston would laugh at that deal involving Savard the 8th pick and Kessel to add Tuuka Rask is overkill the guy played his heart out in the WJC. He was the 2nd best goalie behind Price. No way they trade the goalie of their future for Turco and I love Turco's game.
Boston needs defense and a new owner

He makes them a good team. Marty Turco is one of the more underrated goaltenders in the league. He get's too much flak for his play in the playoffs, but he's an elite goaltender in this league,
