twirl doesn't have to convert. He roots for a pretty good team out in Nashville. Keep beating the Red Wings please. I'd love to see a division banner hanging in the United Center rafters next season. As well as Western Conference Champion and Stanley Cup Champion banners but we'll get to that later.

How do you know my name is twirl?

Nashville has some great defensemen and a good goalie. We just need a couple of playmaking forwards.

Seriously, even after Colin Wilson and Zach Budish (who isn't even that great of a prospect) our top guys are all defensemen and Chet Pickard a goalie.

He's pretty familiar with the Brewers board. He gets around. :eyebrows:

It may have just been last night since I can only watch the Predators a few times, but wasn't David Legwand supposed to be good? Dear God, he's terrible.

Hawks 6 Sharks 0

3 straight shorthanded goals to start the game. Hossa with 2 goals in his debut. This team is unfair.

It's great to be a Predators fan. Seven straight wins and you make up no ground on the first place team.

Nice. Hat trick by Kobasew. Wild beat the Avs 5-3.

Can't stand shoot outs anymore. Bruins had that game won if OT was longer than 5 minutes. Brodeur was doing sick, but he had to give another one up sometime, bruins were firing on all cylinders. Then it goes to a shootout and we lose.

^^That's cool. I just want that number one pick, so we can get Taylor Hall. So please keep losing. Speaking of Hall, his mug scares me

First of all, the Bruins aren't getting Taylor Hall...let's be serious.

Is he worth a top 10 pick? Absolutely. Let's reserve judgement about next years pick until after the offseason.

Never say never. Right now the odds are he does end up there.

How so? The Leafs aren't even the last placed team anymore and they're playing much much better recently. Hell, they're 5 points back of your beloved Canadiens with a game in hand...Not to mention that 8 of Montreal's wins have come in OT or shootout. The Leafs will be higher in the standings than Montreal by the end of the year, book it.

To have a chance at the top pick, you have to be bottom 5 since it's a lottery so as long as the Leafs get out of the bottom 5, they have no chance at Hall. Plus, I'm not sure that I wouldn't take Kessel over Hall anyways. Kessel is the real deal and having a 22 year old 30-40 goal scorer is huge.

Wild and Predators tonight. Of course I'm going to have to find a stream because it's on KSTC instead of FS North.

Good comeback...The Leafs have outplayed Montreal in all 3 games against them this year and Price finally didn't stand on his head last night, and look what the result was. Montreal is a severely flawed team and if it wasn't for the shootout they'd already be worse than Toronto.

I like how you guys are arguing about which team is worse.

They both suck. There, I just saved you a lot of arguing. :)

Ding!

Kane, Toews and Keith officially signed to extensions. Kane and Toews for 5 years, Keith for 13. Money hasn't be disclosed, nor has the subsequent move. Blackhawks need to dump a player to get the salary to work, will probably find out who it is tomorrow.

Montreal is also a team that's been missing Markov since Game 1. Gill, D'Agostini, Gomez, O'Byrne, Kostitsyn and Spacek have all been injured for periods of time, and Gionta is still out. So congrats on finally beating Montreal. It only took you enough tries with enough injuries to help out. What a joke.
