Phoenix is an interesting first round opponent. Im not sure how to feel about them...Bryzgalov is scary and they can play D. I think our offense is too potent for them still, but i think Jimmy Howard alone decides how far the Wings go

No need. The Preds board is jumpin'.

I wonder what days the Hawks will play in Nashville. It would be cool to take a trip down there if it's over the weekend.

Well since my Oilers didn't make the playoffs (lol) i'm gonna be cheering for the Canucks. The Kings are gonna be a tough first round match up though, they're a solid all around team, with some veteran experience.

Not a single Game 7 would be shown on Versus, apparently.

Think a mod even sees this board anymore? Wonder if we could sticky this.

Makes me so much happier that Philly won. I'd honestly way rather play Washington than New Jersey. Brodeur has Montreal's number no matter what every time we play them.

I think besides Buffalo, Washington is our best match up. Varlamov is going to be key for the Caps cause I can't see Openthedore holding up against the Habs in a 7 game series.

Should just start a new playoffs thread.

Philly may be the most plausible underdog to advance. Pittsburgh losing was shocking to see.

Turned on the San Jose game, gotta love the playoff intensity.

I think LA is the most plausible underdog, although technically speaking, Detroit is an underdog as well.

Red Wings really have commanded this game so far, but it's 2-2 at the 13:00 mark of the 2nd

Yeah that's a good choice. Detroit doesn't count though lol.

Saw the highlights, looks great on TV.

Dear Versus,

Your banner ads are annoying and large enough. Could you try not to bring them on when the play is on the near side?
