I am shocked that Toronto traded Versteeg he would be one the ones I would keep I guess they really want to rebuild with a late first and a 3rd round pick. Great move by the Flyers Versteeg is going to make the Flyers the team to beat more so now a great depth guy to have.

I wonder what my Wings are up to I think we should go after at least a defensemen Lidstrom is done in 1 more year and Ralphy isn't getting any younger.

When the Hawks beat St. Louis on Monday, it gave them 68 points to keep them in 11th. They haven't played since and are now 9th. They take on 7th-seeded Nashville tonight, who has 70 points with three other teams.

Good God, I'm dizzy.

My Oilers played a great game last night in Colorado. Eberle was huge and Dubnyk had a great game.

Dubnyk's really starting to show why we drafted him so high, he looks like he could be our goalie of the future.

I can now die happy. Did a portrait of Carey Price on scratchboard and gave it to him tonight in person and his face dropped when I told him to keep it. Thanked me about 20 times over and kept looking at it haha.

The piece itself:

The proof!

Cropped it so you guys don't have too much handsome going on in this thread. :peace:

I'm surprised he got claimed at all. Hall Gill can skate circles around him at this point. And to think Montreal got Josh Gorges for him...

One of the few great one sided trades the Habs were able to pull off..

... :o

If anything, Montreal's has too much luck over it's history with one-sided trades. Just hasn't been many recently. But we got Kovalev for nothing, ditto Souray.

If Colin Campbell ever had a shot to send a message about head shots...this is it. Gilles is a bad player on a bad team and giving him a huge suspension isn't going to ruffle as many feathers in that way. The game back from a long suspension he does the same thing and goes for the head again

The NHL should flex some muscle here. At least the rest of the season, if not much more. Send a message that you are very, very serious about head shots. Or chicken out like they usually do

...and 10 games for Gilles. One more game than last time.

Ladies and Gentleman....Colin Campbell! Making illogical disciplinary decisions for far too long

Colin Campbell needs to go. He's such a hypocrite.

Predators, in a game they absolutely needed lost about 10 straight faceoffs in the 3rd period against San Jose, gave up about five 2 on 1 breaks in the 3rd period and overtime (including the game winner) and got outshot 16-6 in the 3rd period and overtime of a tie game.

If it wasn't for Rinne, they would've lost that game like 5-2.

Zdeno Chara furthermore proving he is the biggest (literally) POS in the NHL. Broken 4th vertebrae and a severe concussion for Pacioretty. **** the NHL if Chara isn't done for the season - how would it be fair for him to be in the playoffs and not Max Pac? What a joke.

The only thing Chara did wrong was finishing the check after the puck went by. Unfortunate injury, but not dirty enough to be suspended for the rest of the season. Gillies' hit was way worse.

I didn't think the hit was that dirty. Chara was certainly late and it sucks that he got so injured, but that was more of a freak accident that a malicious hit in my opinion. I can understand the anger from you though sh00n, I would be mega pissed if that was a Wing getting killed like that
