Fleury was unbelievable tonight. Really he was. and i didnt think i would ever type that. He saved soooo many it made me crazy. Talbot played his ass off for the cup.
Pittsburgh really wanted it. I dont like the Hossa hate, but i understand it. Next year i know we will be back and i fully expect Pitt to be right there as well.
Im not one to make excuses, you guys earned it
Congrats!

Stand up guy right here.
I wasn't really rooting for either but it's always nice to watch the celebrations.

I don't think people hate Hossa but we're all laughing at him since he lost to Detroit, so he signed with them, then he lost to his old team. It's like the worst thing that could ever happen to a player. Not to mention he was non existent in the finals.

Re: Game 7: Who Ya Got?
I think Pittsburgh was pretty lucky to win this or at least not have it go to overtime. I understand not wanting to make stupid mistakes, but they let Detroit play in their defensive zone way too much in the third period.

Fleury won them this game. Maybe his best game of the series.

I love the NHL Cup celebration but it just never feels right when the cup's won in an opposing arena...

Re: Game 7: Who Ya Got?
Fleury stepped up when he had to and along with Talbot, won the game for the Pens. Grats to the Pens, nice to see them win it. Man... Hossa must be kicking himself now eh? Haha... Karma's a biznatch.

To respond to ajax, only Penguins fans hate Hossa, everyone else thinks he's an idiot.

Re: The Pittsburgh Penguins Are Stanley Cup Champions
I completely missed the Pens celebration because I went absolutely nuts. Wow. This is the best feeling in the world. I could only imagine what it's like for the players. Crosby earned this cup and it was so awesome seeing him hoist it.
I have no analysis for this game other then the fact that the Pens are the world champs. Un freaking believable. I'll be celebrating long into the night. Cant wait to see the Hossa interview. HAHA.
Pittsburgh = the city of champs (the Pirates are champs at losing).

Man, honestly, seeing Sidney hoist the Cup was the most epic one I've seen in years. Last one that really gave me goosebumps like that was when Bourque (and maybe Hasak) got it.

Me and my friends were just waiting for the camera to hit Hossa, lol that must suck.
"I definitely knew he traveled, but I didn't know they were going to call it. That was one of them situations in which a great player made a move...and they called the call. And I was like, 'Oh, man, there is a God.'

I was too. I hate NBC. They should of showed him and Talbot. I wanted to see if Talbot would hold true to his word as to what he would say to Hossa had the Pens won. Now I'll never know.
Talbot is such a clutch player. He makes huge plays when the team needs it. His goal in game 5 last finals, his fight with Carcillo in the first round, his 2 big goals against Carolina and now this game.
Anyway, I'm done with Hossa now. I really believe he hurt Detroit's chances of winning the cup this series. THe Pens had extra motivation to win it all. Plus, he played like garbage.
Now we'll see if Hossa truly wants to win the cup. Will he bolt for Edmonton for the money or sign with another team with a shot to win it all?
