flow? Take out the talk than. Got 8 pages.

edit: I do agree, to put away the Montreal - Boston series. Though I don't understand why some can't debate Thornton being a choke artist in the playoffs, in a playoff thread.

Wow...what post season curse is on the Sharks? They have the BEST regular season in franchise history and are about to be beat in 5 games against the 8th seed? This is a team that almost had the best regular season in NHL history! WTF!

Meh, still...I'm surprised more people aren't talking about how much of an upset this is so far...but it is the Sharks. ANY other team, ANY other sport, and people would be going crazy about the possiblity of an 8th seed beating the best *regular season* team in the NHL...but again, stupid Sharks...sigh. I knew there was a reason why I stopped following them in the playoffs :x

I'm not exactly shocked. The Ducks are no pushover. They have a real solid team.

Honestly its not really a surprising result regardless of how successful they have been throughout the regular season. It's just same old same old with the Sharks.

What a difference a year makes. Remember when everyone thought Biron was going to be a beast this year after his single series with the Habs last year? We got screwed over so hard; one amazing series from Biron and RJ freakin' Umberger and now they're both **** again.

Lol. I don't know who said Biron would have a monster year this year, but they are dumb. He sh*t the bed last year against the Pens.

Anyway, I think I am going to send Danny Carcillo a thank you letter for being dumb and fighting Max Talbot. That changed the game. I'm happy Shero traded him. Once again, the Flyers show how dumb they are by going out and trading Upshall for him.

Carcillo is so bad. If I knew all it took was a cruddy goon to land someone like Upshall, I would've got Gainey on the phone and told him to send Laraque over.

Lol. I don't think Clarke would have wanted Laraque. Laraque isn't the prototypical Cryer goon. He doesn't go out and take dumb penalties, and rather win a game, would rather beat up an opponent. For example, see Daniel Carcillo. In a situation like that, Laraque would have been like, No thanks. We are up by 3 so why would I fight you?

Jeff Carter gave away the game. He loses the puck to crosby at the end and doesnt even skate until the last second to try to retrieve it. If he skated as hard as he could to catch crosby, I doubt the empty net would have been scored. I do not understand how carter could have done that. I lost a lot of respect for him when I saw that.

I've said it time in time again, Chicago could very well be this year's sleeper team in the playoffs. They're extremely solid, and doing a wonderful job against Calgary (who are one of the better teams in the West might I add).

Everything about that team (chicago) is admirable. They've got 2 good goaltenders, youth, speed, solid checkers, scoring. They're going to be good for a long time.

Even if they lose the series against the Flames, they're going to be a force next season. Their youth will have some playoff experience under their belt, and should be ready to go next season. I'd be worried if I were in the West.

Even coming from a Flames fan. . .its gonna be hard to take 2 for 2 from Chicago. You nailed it, they really have everything you could ask for in a hockey team. They are so fast, skilled, and i have really been impressed with their toughness in this series. I think it helps that Havlat is in a contract year, but i have been nothing but impressed with that team

That contract year for Havlat also means that you'll have the space to bring in someone else with that money. Chicago is scary good right now and I'm so interested to see if they keep building the team right like they're doing.

Ughhhhh soooo close for the Ducks. I still think they take the series but it would have been nice to finish off the Sharks last night. I do not want to play Van City.

If the Sharks manage to win in game 6...does anyone think they will still win the series?

It all depends on Marleau, in my opinion. He's stepped up in key times in the series, whereas he usually disappears. Who knows what happens.
