ESPN ignores hockey's tragedies in its 'Year In Review' show.

ESPN NHL guys like LeBrun and Custance are awesome; I could do without Burnside. I also like the statistical analysis of Puck Prospectus on there and the Draft Blog. But really, outside of that webpage, nobody on ESPN really cares about hockey enough to put it on TV. Plus, the higher-ups are still crying that they didnt land the TV deal.

Two great wins by The Wings against two very good squads in Nashville and St. Louis. Sucks to see Webber and a host of others go down with head injuries I think Shanny really needs to step up the dirty hits to the head rule.

Anybody know if The Bobby Ryan trade rumors are dead now? Haven't heard anything on it in like 1-2 weeks now. Last time I heard something Toronto and Vancouver were the 2 favs for him.

The St. Louis win last night was awesome. That game was intense from start to finish and really had a playoff type feel to it. Big win

Yeah it was a great game. Howard was amazing in it. I hope that Shanny is going to start handing massive suspensions out for people that are repeat head hunters there is no need for head hunting in The NHL.

Really pumped for my xmas present - Blackhawks @ Red Wings tickets in April. Last home game of the regular season for Detroit, and fan appreciation night.

What's going on with my Hurricanes? Talk starts of a "fire sale", and they start kicking butt and winning games. Why didn't they start this talk a few weeks ago? We'd be leading the Division.

Of course they move it so it overlaps the Rose Bowl.

Why?

I just came here to say I can't believe I missed the Winter Classic, so it kinda gets a yay from me.

Too warm?

I was kinda pissed I missed it too so this is good news.

Temperature isn't the issue, it's the sun. That's why the pushed the alumni game back a few hours on Saturday, it was too sunny.

To which I ask the question...why not just make it a primetime game? It was epic last year because it was at night.

It was always tomorrow, but just moved from 1 to 3. I still miss it because of work. I am guessing that it is a statuatory day off in the States?

Yep. It's the government day off for New Year's.
