There IS some talk that Khabiboulin could be on his way to Montreal... which makes no sense to me other than to keep him away from Ottawa

But i think it would hurt him more

That seems like a pretty good deal for Carolina to me. Or am i underestimating Ladd?

I think it's a good deal for both teams. Both were high draft picks and haven't lived up to expectations. A new change of scenary might do them good. I am surprised Carolina traded Ladd. He was starting to rack up the points since Samsonov came to the team.

That's why I wanted Tuomo Ruutu on the Pens. I think Jarrko could have motivated his younger brother to be the player he was expected to be.

I really like our team the way it is, but if we can steal someone (like Kaberle) than i say go for it

Wow Montreal is stacking up if they get Hossa for cheap then they might beat Ottawa and be a serious powerhouse in the East.

If Ottawa gets Hossa and dosn't move a key cog ala Spezza, Alffie, Heatley or Redden them it's going to be lights out for any Eastern team.

Montreal will get better but how much? They traded their starting goalie in Huet. Price has yet to prove anything.

I love Brian Campbell. He wanted to stay in Buffalo but declined their offer. What a douchebag. I hope Buffalo throws pucks at him during his last game in Buffalo.

Gaineys not an idiot, he's got a plan. I'm hearing right now we may pick up Hedberg with Hossa, for a mentor sorta for Carey Price, and solid backup. Anyways, I thought we didn't get enough for Huet but there is a bigger plan involved. Looking forward to seeing what unfolds.
