Im glad the cup is being contested in two markets where people are crazy about hockey. Nothing against Tampa but Boston is a different animal.

Roloson played really really well. Great year for the Lightning. They re well set for the future.

'Nucks in 6 is also my guess... or hope, haha. Man do I despise those Bruins -_- I will be in so much pain if they lift the cup... Gonna be pretty crazy here in downtown Vancouver though!

Actually, I said Caps and Nucks. The post I quoted was twirly running a simulation on some website that predicted Bruins over Canucks in 7

Well I wanted to root for Vancouver, but since I know a guy on Boston and would love to party with the Cup here in my hometown I am going to have to root for Boston. But my prediction for RealGM will probably say Vancouver because I think they have the better team.

Okay, I'm here for my one hockey series of the year.

What I know about this series:

Bruins are from Boston

Canucks are from Vancouver.

Who's good from each team and who's supposed to win?

Kesler, Luongo, the Sedin twins, Hamhuis, Samuellson, Raymond, Edler, Bieksa, Ehrhoff for the Canucks.

Bergeron, Thomas, Chara (hardest shot evah!), Krejci, Peverley (personal favorite), Seguin (not great now but will be), Lucic, Marchand, Horton and Ryder.

Canucks are expected to win. Better record in a better conference.

Obviously as a Nucks fan I will say that we're winning this in 5 or 6, but I'd like to be realistic here. The Bruins weren't that great in the regular season, but have stepped it up in the PO's recently, especially Tim Thomas. Chara was pretty non-existent last series but Lucic, a Vancouver native, is playing like a man. The Bruins probably can't keep up with our speed, but their big bodies will do us harm if the series gets physical, which I absolutely expect.

PS. I'm sorry to be picky but please don't leave out Alexandre Burrows, the guy has been absolutely terrific in the playoffs and deserves recognition for sure. Samuellson may or may not play, but your leaving our best defender and slap shot off there as well, Sammy Salo.

Catching up on a year of hockey in a weekend.

What's up with Crosby? i'm hearing some fans saying he's a pussy for not gutting it out and playing, and ESPN seems to be reporting his injury as the biggest tragedy in the history of the sport.

Which is it?

It's a concussion, so fans are idiots.

It's been tornado coverage for the past 2 and a half hours.

Am I douchebag for saying I want my bruins pre-game?

Great pace so far.
