Here was CBC's intro to the playoffs.

"I definitely knew he traveled, but I didn't know they were going to call it. That was one of them situations in which a great player made a move...and they called the call. And I was like, 'Oh, man, there is a God.'

I've come down with some sort of illness and I'm going to the Hawks game tonight. Impeccable timing.

Preds take the series lead 2-1 with a 4-3 win. Crazy game.

Preds took the lead on a power play goal by Erat after he put his own rebound in. Then 38 seconds later Tootoo got a rebound and put it in. Preds absolutely dominated the first 37 minutes. Outshot the Ducks at one point 25-5.

Then Shane O'Brien decided to take his one absolutely stupid penalty of the game (sometimes there's more than one but there's always at least one) and Selanne capitalized. Then the defense decided to fall asleep and Selanne got another one 30 seconds later. Preds took a 3-2 5:25 into the 3rd, the Ducks tied it 1:23 later and then Fisher got the game winner on an amazing pass by Kostitsyn at 10:21. Koivu took a penalty with 2:20 left, the Preds instead of attacking and risking an odd man rush by the Ducks on a stupid pass and decided to play it safe. The Ducks never really got another chance.

From Stanley Cup Champs to possible sweep in the first round. Something just wasnt right with the Hawks this year.

And Torres is a dirty player. What a douche.

Whether or not Torres deserves it, being a repeat offender and with the emphasis on no head hits, he will definitely be getting a few.

Have just returned after the two hour drive home from Chicago, what can you say at this point. The Hawks are just being outworked and outclassed. The stars showed glimmers tonight on the power play, but were silent for the majority of the game again. Vancouver is just dominating play.

A maddening season will come to a merciful end on Tuesday. Then maybe these guys can get some rest and pull their heads out of their asses for next season.

Chris Kunitz with a disgusting elbow to the head with clear intent. Should be at least a 2 game suspension.

The Kings have jumped out on the Sharks again, 2-0. San Jose really in some dangerous territory in April once again.

Kings up 4-0 nothing now. I thought they were done without Kopitar but so far they've looked pretty good and Quick has been decent in net.

Big blown opportunity for San Jose, giving up another one the shift after getting it to 4-3.
