Grade school mistake.
"I definitely knew he traveled, but I didn't know they were going to call it. That was one of them situations in which a great player made a move...and they called the call. And I was like, 'Oh, man, there is a God.'

Staggered start times = playoff hockey on constantly = boner

The officials are calling EVERYTHING on the Wings.

First playoff game of the year goes to overtime.

Welcome back, kids.

...and Philly came back from a 3 goal deficit. Great game.

Teams always getting choppy with us at the end really pisses me off. Weber throwing a punch... come on son

What can ya do though? Good on Nashville for getting the win and Rinne for continuing to make Detroit his personal bitch. Got some real bad bounces but that's the game. Officiating was awful from start to finish both ways bordering on embarrassing.

Weber may be getting a call from Mr. Shanahan.

Sadly, I agree with WEFFPIM. Just a stupid, stupid play. You can't have your captain and one of your best players doing that at the end of the game when it's already won no matter what happened before.

Wow, they nearly killed it off but Mitchell bombs it home

It would be a travesty for him not to get a suspension for this. If they wanna take head safety or their rules about not sending messages at the end of games seriously, then Weber has to get games

It'll be interesting to see how many he gets. Shanahan said last month that suspensions might be reduced in the postseason because of how pivotal the games are.

The Kings have dominated this game and that happens. Killer.

Kings get a win they wholeheartedly deserved. Best team all night with the exception of about six minutes in the 3rd.

Weber avoids the Shanaban. $2,500 fine. Shanahan says it was a reactionary play and Zetterberg suffered no injury.

That's a pretty damn kind ruling. Typical NHL hypocrisy
