I agree with you about Huet. He should have gotten more for him. It is a good thing he didn't though, showing it doesn't take nearly as much as it did last year to get a player.

Ottawa just acquired Martin Lapointe from Chicago.

Robert Lang was pulled off the ice as well.

According to Ek, Rob Blake has turned down a trade to Detroit and San Jose

Solid pickup for Ottawa... just a 6th round pick sent the other way for Lapointe.
