Pens and Minnesota would make a nice trading partner.

It's the isles. That's so cool, seeing them sign the paper.

I seen that. They will probably take Kassian.

The draft is moving too slow.

The better question is was it even necessary. The Islanders traded up to get a guy who should have (emphasis on should) been there for their pick. So either his value is higher than expected, or the Islanders just gave away a few late-round picks.

Yeah it is. And I am pretty surprised the bruins have been so quiet. That broken kaberle deal really hushed them. They were talking about moving up.

Nice suit of Landen Ferraro. Wouldn't mind seeing him drop to the Pens as well.

The Islanders must have known someone ahead of them was going to draft him. If not, dumb move.

NOoooooooo, Zassian is gone.

Probably, but it made me think of Isiah Thomas inexplicably trading up for Renaldo Balkman anyway, if only because it makes me smile.

So what does everyone think of Ryan Ellis? I watch hockey, but don't follow prospects at all.

He's got great offensive ability. Needs to work on the defense. I think Nashville should have went with the forward position though. They have Weber, Suter and Hambuis already and don't have much up front.

McGuire is such an idiot. Acting like Gaborik is gone. Gaborik is gonna love how Richards will coach the team. I bet he re-signs.
